Among our community programs
are the Lawyer Referral Service, Speakers Bureau, Mock Trial Presentations, Essay Contest and our annual Dial-A-Lawyer Program. We co-sponsor the Volunteer Lawyer Service, Lawyer for the Day Program and the Honorable Harry Zarrow Homeless Advocacy Program.
For our members,
the WCBA has over 20 committees and 13 sections, which keep members appraised of new legislation and current practices in a specific area of law. Numerous continuing legal education programs are sponsored throughout the year and most are offered at no cost to our members. The WCBA publishes Legal Lines, a monthly Newsletter that keeps members informed of our activities, programs and current events. The WCBA offers
numerous social events throughout the year. We offer disability, life, long-term care, dental and health insurance plans to our members. The WCBA maintains a Lawyer Referral Service, Mentor Program, Lawyer Emergency Assistance Plan, District and Superior Court Conciliator Programs.
The Executive Committee
is the governing body of the Worcester County Bar Association and is composed of our president, president-elect, secretary/treasurer, past president (ex officio) and fifteen other members of the association. The members elect all of these positions.
The Worcester County Bar Association office is located at 19 Norwich Street, Worcester, Massachusetts. The facilities are open to members to use for meetings and
