COMMITTEE ON SERVICES TO THE POOR AND HOMELESS ARE SPONSORING A TEAM AT THE ANNUAL WALK/RUN FOR THE HOMELESS

The Committee on Services to the Poor and Homeless invites members of the Worcester County Bar Association to join them at the 29th Annual WALK/RUN for the Homeless. The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Elm Park in Worcester.  Runner registration begins at 12:00 p.m., walker registration begins at 1:00 p.m., and the WALK/RUN begins at 2:00 p.m.

In addition to raising funds for this cause, the WCBA team hopes to see more people participate in the actual event.  It is a lot of fun and includes a picnic and entertainment at the end.  Also, of note, unlike other run/walks, participants are not required to raise a certain amount of money in order to participate.

For more information, to register, or to donate, visit the WCBA team page at http://www.stayclassy.org/fundraise/team?ftid=30717.
