About

The Worcester County Bar Association (WCBA) is a voluntary association of approximately one thousand lawyers, judges, clerks and related legal professionals. We have been serving the county and the broader community since 1887. We offer an array of programs and services of interest and assistance to the legal profession and the community at large.

Mission statement

The purpose of the WCBA is to maintain the honor of the profession, to promote the administration of justice, to advance the science of jurisprudence, to promote legal education and to foster and encourage cooperation and good fellowship among the members of the bar.

Leadership

  • The Executive Committee is the WCBA governing body and is composed of our president, president-elect, secretary/ treasurer, past president (ex officio) and fifteen other members of the association. The members of the association elect these positions.
  • The WCBA has more than 12 committees and 13 sections, that keep members apprised of new legislation and current practices in a specific area of law.
